Wondering what’s on around Cromer this weekend (Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28)?
Here are a few things planned.
Saturday, October 27
Juniors Disco - Halloween-themed event at Cromer Sports Centre in Norwich Road takes place at 4pm.
Described as: “Open to children aged 4-11 years, these sessions offer the chance to dance, play and socialise with friends! Come and join us in the comfort of our sports hall as our DJ and entertainer, Twist ‘n’ Shape by the sea Balloon Artist & Children’s Entertainer keep the children entertained with games, activities and all the latest tunes!” Tickets available here.
Race Night - Described as: “A fun night at the races. Experience owning a horse or having a flutter on a race. Evening includes a buffet supper”. This Cromer Twinning Association event will take place at the Community Centre in Garden Street from 7pm to 10pm. Cost is £5 and tickets are available form the town council offices, members of the twinning group, Henry’s Coffee or on Eventbrite here.
Craft Burger Halloween Party - Taking place at Craft Burger in New Street 8pm - midnight.
Described as: “Fancy Dress (optional), myself and the Naked Lights will pick a best dressed winner. Expect some spooky and funky tunes, plus Craft Burgers famous hospitality and drinks deals. Tickets are £3 and are on sale now! Call Craft Burger on 01263 511559 to reserve yours or pop in the restaurant.”
The Classical Duo - Ben Lake and Hayley Moss are performing at Cromer Pier’s Pavilion Theatre from 8pm.
Description: “Their famous performances in the back lanes of Norwich went viral on You Tube, and we are delighted to bring you the incredible vocals of Tenor Ben Lake and Soprano Hayley Moss on our famous theatre stage for the very first time. Expect all the well known classics, a tear and a few goose bumps along the way. Simply superb!” Tickets are available here.
Sunday, October 28
30-minute beach clean and social meet-up - Starts at 11.30am at Cromer Pier, hosted by Surfers Against Sewage Norfolk.
Description: “Come join in our Autumn Beach clean series with our reps from all over East Anglia..
30 minutes before lunch that’s all it will take and will be the best 30 minutes you’ve even given to Mother Ocean.
“With a chance to discuss how you can ‘ be the change’ with Mark Bradnum SAS who will help you look at small changes that make a big difference, in fact you can talk about any issues or ideas you have to make a difference in East Anglia.”
Hello Again-The Story of Neil Diamond - Taking place at Cromer Pier’s Pavilion Theatre 7.45pm-9.45pm.
Description: “The world’s greatest celebration of the life and work of Neil Diamond. Starring Brooklyn Creed and The Salvation Band. From The Bang Years to the present day you’ll soon find yourself singing along to all the hits including Sweet Caroline, Cracklin’ Rosie, Forever in Blue Jeans, Hello Again, Love on the Rocks, America and many more.” Tickets for the show are available here.
