Artworks inspired by the ocean will go on show in a new exhibition.
North Norfolk artist Rainie Kay’s work including photographic-based pieces, prints and ocean-themed paintings will go on show at the Art House Cafe in High Street, Cromer, from August 1 to 11.
The exhibition called Ultra Marine: An artistic journey under the waves, will also include jewellery and other items.
Mr Kay said: “For the first time, I’ve also made some lovely ‘ocean-inspired’ jewellery featuring recycled vintage, antique and semi-precious beads and real drilled sea-glass. There are plenty of new greetings cards to choose from, as well as some attractive ‘dolphin’ tote bags, so you can say goodbye to plastic in style.”
Susan Purser Hope, an artist who works with fused glass, will also display colourful bowls and dishes at the venue.
There will be a launch event on Friday, April 5 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
