As every parent knows, getting a good night’s sleep is not always straightforward.
And now a free workshop is being planned to help parents of children who suffer from sleep deprivation - and therefore might be missing out on a bit of shut-eye themselves.
The sleep workshop will cover topics including the physiology of sleep, reasons why a child is having difficulty sleeping, keeping a sleep diary and sleep strategies.
There will also be a ‘sleep bingo’ and quizzes about sleep.
The workshop, which is being run thanks to funding from Comic Relief Community Grants, will take place on Tuesday, April 24 9.30am-midday at Cromer Junior School in Norwich Road. The Sleep East-run event is designed for exhausted parents and is also suitable for parents of children with complex and additional needs.
