We’re celebrating our Volunteer Mentors this week, because without them there would be more homeless young people.

That’s why this Volunteer’s Week we’re thanking our volunteers, business partners as well as working with young people to get involved in volunteering from a young age too!

At Your Own Place we’re working with the public as well as employees of local businesses to provide trained and motivated Volunteer Mentors.

Once trained they mentor those young people that lack support as they make their way in the ever-complex world.

Our pledge to our valued volunteer mentors, is two-days of superb training that develops new skills, confidence and motivation to do something in the local community that makes a real difference.

Volunteer Mentoring changes life.

One young person in North Walsham, Christina, told us that without her mentor nudging her she’d never have made the phone calls she did. Thanks to those phone calls she got a job and kept her home!

We’ll be training new volunteer mentors in Cromer on 1st and 2nd August.

If you’re a member of the public, a local employer or community champion, please get in touch and get involved in making a real difference today!
