The British weather means that visitors and residents of Norfolk’s coastal towns means we’re hardened to the occasional downpour.

But since the Beast of the East has hit north Norfolk, a rare phenomenon has occurred where the usual golden beaches have been turned white over.

Icicles have also been forming on the cliff faces from West Runton to Sheringham, much to the surprise of passers by.

Not to be deterred by the cold weather, residents of Sheringham have made the most of the fresh snow by taking their sledges to the beach and racing along the sand.

Have you got any pictures of the snow at sea?
