With regards to recent events involving the RNLI, I would like to express the positives here at Cromer.

Cromer is one of the busiest lifeboat stations on the coast with regards to footfall, the shop, and organised visits. Without all this and the donations we thankfully receive, we would be unable to function.

After a recent boathouse revamp, the open day on Sunday was a huge success, as was the Antiques Roadshow.

Both events bringing people from all over the UK to the pier.

Seen as a predominantly male role, four females have recently volunteered as crew, to which I wish them the best of luck.

As the newly appointed mechanic, I can only express my thanks to all and the people that I work with at Cromer RNLI.
