READER LETTER: ‘Heartfelt thanks after I had a fall’

May I, through your paper, convey my heartfelt thanks to the as yet unknown to me, lady and gentlemen, along with a young man, who stopped to help me, following a fall in Cromer on Wednesday.

Their assistance given to me after my fall, caused by an uneven path, was very much appreciated.

The couple kindly escorted me to the nearest place where I could rest, which was Saffron Insurance in Bond Street.

There I was looked after, and able to stem the flow of blood, until I could be taken to the hospital.

I particularly wish to pass on my thanks to the manager Will Howett, and his staff.

Thankfully my son was available to collect me and take me to the hospital, where I must also say that I was given first class attention, quickly which was of great comfort to me.
