From flat as a millpond to rough and choppy, the Cromer sea is beautiful in all weathers.

This stunning film shot by photographer Chris Taylor has captured the waves in one of their most impressive and powerful states.

Sharing the film on the Enjoy Cromer More Facebook page, he said: “Just 3:30 minutes of big waves crashing into things at Cromer yesterday, with nature providing the soundtrack.

“I could watch this all day.”

Alison Hartshorn said: “I’ve never been in Cromer to see the heavy rolling seas.

“It looks amazing but very dangerous - wonderful.”

Jannene Bird added: “We’ve visited Cromer many times and the sea has always been so calm and blue.”

And Alex Smith said: “Paddleboarding here a week ago. Sea was as flat as a millpond and a deep azure blue. This is more typical of the North Sea in autumn - wild and a little bit scary. Much more like it.”
