Two north Norfolk artists feature in the What Lies Beneath exhibition, which is at the Art House Cafe in Cromer until Saturday, May 11.
Underwater Vessels, inspired by the north Norfolk reef, features a range of bowls and dishes using different fused glass techniques by Susan Purser Hope, from Cromer.
She said: “The colours and forms of the creatures and plants living on the reef are magical and a real challenge to me to represent them in glass to their full advantage.”
Meanwhile, Ultramarine: an artistic journey under the waves features work by Rainie Kay, who works from her studio on the coast near Cromer, and includes some photographic-based pieces, along with new prints and several ocean-themed paintings. The exhibition was previously at the Anteros Gallery in Norwich. The cafe was opened almost four years ago by Liz James whose ambition was to support and exhibit local artists.
