“Let’s get Cromer together”: Miss Norfolk encourages Cromer to get behind worthy causes

Spring is finally here and Cromer is getting busy! It’s great to see Cromer full of people this bank holiday supporting our local businesses.
It’s only one month to go until the Charity Spring Ball in aid of BTR supported by Davies Fish Shop, Cromer, and I don’t even have my dress!
I’m getting the final details together now and the ball is sold out!
I’m asking my local community to help me out with raffle prizes now it’s the start of the new tax year, so I don’t want to hear “I’ve ran out of charity budget”.
Simple prizes for the raffle is great and I’m sure every shop in Cromer can do me some kind of raffle prize.
I can collect all prizes so I won’t put you out.
Just contact me on my Facebook ‘Elisha’s Events’, let me know you would like to donate a prize and I’ll come pick it up.
I started to organise ‘The charity Spring Ball’ in Oct 2017, I said to my friend one day after we had already raised £3600: “I want to do more”.
So what better way to raise more money for the charity putting on event that everyone is going to enjoy.
Most women love getting dressed up for a night out. Putting their beautiful long ball gowns on, doing their makeup and hair, and having a meal and a dance.
I planned the ball for May 2018 as it’s now Spring time so hopefully it will be warmer.
May is also when I’m due another scan so hopefully we will be celebrating that Terry the Tumour has not grown to much! *Fingers crossed*
March was Brain Tumour Awareness month and was Brain Tumour Research biggest campaign, WEAR A HAT DAY on 29.03.18.
Halsey House Royal British Legion joined in with wear a hat day and raised £88.00. The staff all got involved and a hattastic quiz with residents. It was a fun filled morning at Halsey. Well done to everyone that joined in. Did your workplace get involved?
Have you heard about prom nation which is going on too?
You may have seen me on itv anglia last Friday. A lady called Tracey overheard a girl once say she can’t afford to go to prom, so Tracey team up with Break Charity and now has over 500 dresses preloved and brand new.
Tracey has put an event together to sell these dresses for as little as £10! What an amazing idea. I am supporting Tracey with this event and will be attending. Girls that are going to prom take a look here!
Prom Nation will be held on April 12th, 10:00am Bar 11 Norwich.
I’ve been eating far to much chocolate over these last weeks, I’m going to try get my fitness up again for the summer.
Got to keep my healthy body for all these events!
I’ve been speaking to Be Fitness and she has started a new BULEXERCISE CLASS on 10th April @ 5:50 in North Walsham Sport Centre. So I’m going to try that one and she hopes to come to Cromer next so I’ll keep you all updated of how it went.
Exciting times ahead, lots going on and I love getting involved with all these events! If you have an idea for a charity you would like to raise money for then let’s get Cromer together as a local community and raise that money.
