Hard as it is to believe, the north Norfolk coast has seen more than a century of performances by the The Cromer and Sheringham Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society.
Of course, when it began in 1914 it was known as the Cromer Amateur Operatic Society, and the group didn’t get its current name until decades later.
The society’s first show, Margery Deane, was reviewed as “a notable success and all concerned were enthusiastically congratulated”.
And as the ’s current production, Sister Act, is proving a hit at Cromer Pier, we thought we would take a stroll down memory lane with this picture quiz.
