Hundreds of thrill-seekers will again be taking part in the traditional Boxing Day dip in Cromer.
Organised by the North Norfolk Beach Runners, 80 people have already confirmed they will be taking part, with another 300 interested.
The organisers said on Facebook: “Brace yourselves - you know you’ve been waiting for this! This event is firmly fixed in the Christmas calendar and this year’s event is to raise funds for the Stroke Association. This charity was chosen out of respect for our own Andy Kett who suffered a stroke in September whilst out running, and we want to help others in a similar situation. Join us to raise funds for such a worthy cause.”
Meet at Cromer Pier for a warm-up run at 9am, all abilities catered for, followed by the traditional countdown to the dip at 10am. This is an hour earlier than previous years to avoid the high tide.
