A group of men from Cromer who fought in the First World War have had their wartime diaries published in a new book.
George, William and Leonard Baker, brought up at the Ship Hotel, in Cromer, were among the men from Norfolk who fought during World War One.
And now their descendants have gathered to celebration the publication of their diaries and letters in a new book, titled The Baker Brothers: Diaries from the Eastern Front 1914-1919.
Written by Cromer author, Brenda Stibbons, the book blends their accounts with photographs and family letters to tell an unusual tale of adventure.
The book launch was held at the Old Rock Shop Bistro, in Cromer, on Friday, July 20.
The book retails at £14.95 and is available to buy from local book and museum shops, and online from www.poppyland.co.uk.
