From acai bowls to avocado toast, brunch and breakfast are quickly becoming the food world’s trendiest meals.
With Cromer’s wealth of cafes, offering everything from porridge to poached eggs, there’s no shortage of places in north Norfolk to satisfy your brunch cravings.
And one popular spot has found their ‘fry-up free’ breakfasts prove a big hit.
With pumpkin spiced porridge, Eggs Royale and a revamped Croque Monsieur all on the menu, and not a fry-up to be seen, The Old Rock Shop Bistro has embraced the growing brunch trend.
The Breakfast & Brunch at The Bistro Menu is served from 8am on Saturday and Sunday, with last orders being taken at 11.30am.
Owner Sam Grout said: “We do specials, from waffles and pancakes to avocado smash, and our classic Eggs Benedict and Croque Madam.
“But there’s not a full English in sight.
“There’s lots of cafes offering that and we wanted to do something with a twist.”
He added that the business focuses on locally supplied produce, including from Lizzie’s Fruit and Veg and Dudley’s Bakery.
