The weather is set fair for the Cromer Lifeboat Day on Sunday, July 22, which will feature the launch of both lifeboats, demonstrations and stalls along the Promenade.

The annual event, which runs from 10am to 5pm, will also feature sea safety talks, lifeguard demonstrations, children’s activities and a treasure hunt.

There will also be music from the Sheringham Shantymen and Lowestoft band Zingaru Blue on the forecourt.

RNLI Cromer spokesman Audrey Smith said: “Come and enjoy a full and fun day out for the whole family and show your support for the Cromer lifeboat station crew.”

The lifeguard sea safety talk will be on the east side of the pier and East Beach while the annual lifeboat service will be at 2pm at the pier boathouse. The Henry Blogg Museum and the pier shop will also be open and there will be Stormy Stan appearances throughout the day, subject to the weather.
