Visitors to Cromer Hospital’s annual fete have raised more than £4,000 for the facility.
Held on Saturday, June 30, the event welcomed guests Desmond MacCarthy from the BBC’s Normal for Norfolk and a group of Stormtroopers in full costume.
And the total raised so far stands at £4353.35, which will go towards providing equipment for the hospital.
Manager Iain Young said: “It went really, really well.
“We’re hoping to match what we made last year which was about £5,000.
“We had a traditional fete, with a car boot sale, craft stalls, and performances from local kids dance group, as well as our visitors from the East Anglian Star Wars Club.”
The fete also saw an appearance from Darth Vader, also known as Huw Jones, head of the oral health laboratory at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH).
And Cromer Hospital has also received a separate donation of £15,000 in memory of Anna Bailey.
