Eight businesses in Cromer snagged ten awards voted for by the group members on the Enjoy Cromer More facebook page.

More than 50 nominations for the awards were made, with some categories being separated from winner to runner up by a tiny percentage.

More than 2,000 votes were cast in the Enjoy Cromer More awards, and all nominations were made by customers.

Malcolm Hannah of Mary Janes said: “This is great - I want a picture of it!”

Colleague Debbie Mileham added: “We’ve got two so we need to work out where to put them!”

Nick Copeman of the Wellington Pub added: “It was a tough category, it was so close between us and the Red Lion!”

Editor of the North Norfolk News, Adam Lazzari said: “Whether businesses were nominated or win an award it’s something to be proud of - cafes and restaurants were nominated by ECM readers themselves, so the fact that customers have gone out of their way to show their support can only be a positive thing, whether they win or not.”

“All businesses who are either nominees or winners were suggested and championed by customers themselves, and we would like to offer our congratulations to all involved.”
