It’s a view to die for and it’s partly why BBC Look East weather presenter Alex Dolan has decided to move to Cromer.
Waking up in the morning she can draw the curtains back and gaze upon the huge expanse of sea and beach that makes up the north Norfolk town's seafront.
And leaving her front door it's just a few minutes' walk down to the pier.
Ms Dolan has bought property in iconic Jetty Street and plans to move her whole family there this summer.
That family includes her partner Peter Solomons, a BBC news editor, their daughter Eliza, four, and their dog, Hazel, two.
She wants to update the grade 2 listed building and will commute to the BBC offices in Norwich to deliver her regional forecasts, although she will still keep a base in the city.
She grew up in Cambridge and has been working for BBC Look East for about nine years.
She said: “I love Norwich; it's such a great city, and I did not really think that I would feel at home anywhere as much, until I came to Cromer.
“Last summer it really clicked for me. We were filming a roadshow for Look East. I was interviewing Cromer carnival organiser Tony Shipp on the beach, and I suddenly felt it would be a dream come true to live here.
“This house was for sale in the old town. It was a holiday let before.
“Cromer is such a magical place. We were initially just going to have it as a holiday home. But there's nothing better than sitting on the beach and watching our daughter play, and walking on the prom with Hazel. This is my spiritual home.”
She has already picked out some favourite eateries and coffee shops in the town. These include Upstairs at No 1, Rocket House Cafe, North Sea Coffee Co and Grey Seal Coffee.
She said: “Cromer's a 'feel-good' place - just 40 minutes from Norwich and you're in a wonderful seaside town. It feels really unspoilt and looks like it's been really carefully looked after. There's such a nice atmosphere and friendly people.”
