About With Friends
Cromer’s Katie Johnson, 22, talks about ‘My life in Cromer’
Cromer has offered me lots of happy memories and fabulous places to go.
My favourite places in Cromer are the different variety of pubs, especially the White Horse because I like to have some relaxation time.
What I like best about people from Cromer is that they’re funny and bubbly.
Another thing I love about Cromer is all the food – I love the smell of fish and chips when I go past Mary Jane’s Fish Bar.
Also, I like Cromer because I get to enjoy going up and down the pier and seeing the sights, like the big waves on a windy day.
Cromer gives me the opportunity to meet lots of new people. I’m really proud that I get to visit Cromer every week thanks to my job at About with Friends.
About with Friends has made me realise that I would like to go on to a full-time job helping others as a support worker.
Working in Cromer has given me the opportunity to make friends and has also given me experience in working as a team. My life in Cromer makes me feel part of a community.
